NATIONAL GROUPS OF IABMAS
To better coordinate its activities, the International Association for Bridge Maintenance and Safety (IABMAS) provides the possibility of establishing national groups. At present (November 2013) there are four national groups: Portugal, China, Italy and Brazil.
IABMAS Portugal Group (ASCP)
ASCP intends to promote technical and scientific cooperation and contribute to the dissemination and development of the bridge maintenance and safety subject; and to ensure the Portuguese representation in IABMAS.

IABMAS China Group
The IABMAS China Group intends to build a professional academic organization in the field of bridge maintenance, safety and management in China and to establish a platform for both domestic and international communication within IABMAS.

IABMAS Italy Group
The IABMAS Italy Group was formed with the intent of establishing a reference for scholars, researchers and designers in order to promote a fruitful synergy between theory and practice in the field of bridges and viaducts, fostering dialogue between the academic community, the professional community, operators in the building industry, manufacturers of advanced materials, management institutions and administrations of public and private infrastructure networks.

IABMAS Brazil Group
Besides promoting conferences, symposia and workshops, the IABMAS Brazil Group aims to disseminate knowledge in the area of maintenance and structural safety of bridges in accordance with the objectives of IABMAS.
