(1) Symmetries and conservation laws: differential and difference equations (Spring)
This part of the course (consisting of 9 lectures in May/June 2018 by Dr. Linyu Peng, Waseda University) will be an introduction to symmetries and conservation laws for differential and difference equations.

(2) Dirac geometry, variational principles, and dynamical systems (Spring)
The second part of the course (consisting of 6 lectures in June 2018 by Prof. Hiroaki Yoshimura, Waseda University) will treat Dirac geometry, variational principles, and dynamical systems.

(3) Symplectic geometry and its applications (Winter)
The third part of the course (consisting of 8 lectures by Martin Guest, Waseda University and 7 lectures by Murad Alim, Hamburg University, in Winter Semester 2018/19) will discuss special geometry and ideas related to mirror symmetry.
