Research Interests
My research focuses on bounded rationality, public opinion, and regional integration.
Underlying these topics is my long-term interest in the interrelationship between individuality and collectivity from both theoretical and empirical angles. More specifically,
- How do individuals form a collective entity?
- What is the relationship between individual preferences and collective rationality?
- Does the collectivity make up each individual, or do individuals constitute the collectivity?
Research questions such as these have motivated my work on group-oriented behaviour, individual-collective conflict, and inter-state cooperation.
