2020: Online Class materials:

2020年春学期に提供するオンライン講義の資料を紹介します。多くの留学生が出席する講義を担当しているため、ネット環境の不均一性・時差に対応する必要がありました。このため、音声ファイルを中心に配信をしています。以下では各講義の初回資料を公開します。講義受講者には、授業支援システム早稲田Moodleを通じて配信しています。また、講義は全て英語で提供されています。

Social Studies and Communication (GSICCS)

This is a temporal page before starting the Waseda moodle. Once you can use the Waseda moodle after October 6, we move there. Here, I provide the course materials of the first and second classes before starting it.

I also have some plan on live lecture on ZOOM. I will announce when after the Waseda moodle is avaiable.

    2. Distinction between population & sample in descriptive statistics

    3. Check why the sample varience is obtained by dividing by N-1. Find out the reason or proof by using some statistics textbook.
    4. Try to a Python program: Data: 02churn.csv Sample program: 20Lec02.ipynb (Just download it, and upload it on your Google Corab directly! If you open it, you will see only meaningless codes.)

      How to implement the sample program

      Please Google the term of "Colaboratory" and "mount". Then you may find how to mount the google drive based on your language.
