Sachiko Kuroda is a professor of Economics in the Faculty of Education and Integrated Arts and Sciences at Waseda University. She completed her undergraduate studies at Keio University in 1994 and received a master’s degree from Aoyama-gakuin University in 1999, and earned her Ph.D. At Keio University in 2009. She joined the Bank of Japan in 1994 and engaged in economic analysis at the Institute of Monetary and Economic Studies. She was associate professor at Institute of Economic Research at Hitotsubashi University from 2006 to 2009, and associate professor at the Institute of Social Science at the University of Tokyo from 2009 to 2011. She joined the Faculty of Education and Integrated Arts and Sciences at Waseda University since 2011.
