With so many complicated situations around the world, it's good to look at things from more than one viewpoint. Find a Teacher This service can help you find a private teacher for English or other foreign languages who lives close to you in Japan. It is not free--after you find a teacher from the list, you have to pay a 3800 yen fee to contact the teacher.


Find an E-mail pen pal!

The Student E-mail Center at Dave's ESL Cafe has messages from students around the world who would like penpals. (Click on 'View List'.)

English Club Net also has a a penpal list. Click on "View It" to see people who want penpals, or "Sign It" to add your own name.

Get some advice on writing the first message to an e-mail penpal.
