Invited Session for KES2009

 “Intelligent Technology Approach to
Management Engineering”

1) The scope:

   Intelligent technologies are widely employed in management engineering. The methodology includes artificial intelligent, neural network, fuzzy set based technology, and genetic algorithms, evolutionary computing, particle swarm optimization, chaos approaches and so on. Most concepts of intelligent technologies came out in 1960s and 1970s and it was burst into application fields in 1980s. Today the intelligent technology plays a pivotal role in modern engineering and contributes to solve problems in Management Engineering not only of human related ones but also of mathematical ones. This organized and invited sessions focus on the advanced methodologies of intelligent methods which are employed in management engineering.

2) Related fields:
  Systems design, engineering, production, management, economics, policy making, decision making, real options analysis, Kansei engineering, ergonomics, project management, MOT, R&D and so on.

3) Time Schedule:
  Submission of a full paper:                      March 1, 2009  extended by March 28, 2009
   Notification of acceptance:                       April 1, 2009 extended to April 30, 2009
   Submission of the camera-ready paper:      April 20, 2009 extended by May 23, 2009

(Session organizers have to send the bundle of camera-ready papers to KES Secretariat
till May 1, 2009, or the papers will not appear in the proceedings,
Final paper publication files to be received by: 23 May 2009
all members have to pay their registration fee till June 7, 2008 as well.)

and be submitted through the PROSE review software (Address will be publicized soon)

1.  To enable us to see the results of the review process as requested by Springer.
2. To enable us to collect the files to be sent to the publisher to produce the proceedings.

Note: We cannot send the files to Springer if they have not passed through PROSE and so papers that are not submitted through PROSE cannot appear in the proceedings.

Papers to appear in the KES 2009 proceedings must have their publication files and copyright forms uploaded onto PROSE by May 1, 2009.
