He completed his PhD in Speech, Hearing and Phonetic Sciences at University College London in 2014. After having worked at the Faculty of Science and Engineering, Waseda Univeristy from 2014 to 2017, he moved to the Faculty of Commerce in the same university. He is conducting research in cross-language speech perception and production as well as teaching English and Phonetics courses.
