My main research interest is in the area of muscle mechanics, particularly on the relationship between in vivo muscle behavior and movement performance in humans. Effects of training, growth, aging, and fatigue on human muscles are also in the scope of my research. Techniques include real-time ultrasonography, magnetic resonance imaging, electromyography, and joint kinetics during voluntary and electrically evoked muscle contraction.
Mucle mechanics related with sports performance is also in my research topics.
