We are designing and developing radio frequency integrated circuits (RFICs) operating in microwave and millimeter wave bands.

Examples of RFICs on various research themes

Power Amplifier(PA)

    A power amplifier (Power-amplifier, PA) is a circuit that amplifies an RF signal to a predetermined output power for the antenna in transmitter.
    It amplifies the modulated signal from several mW level to several W level and supplies the amplified signal to the antenna.

Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO)

    Voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) is an electrical oscillator whose oscillation frequency is controlled by control voltages.
    It provides LO signals for the down-conversion and up-conversion in transceivers.


    Mixers take charge of the down-conversion from RF to IF signals in receivers and the up-conversion from IF to RF signals in transmitters by mixing the input signals with LO signals provided by the VCO.

For those who have designed amplifiers or oscillators at university or college etc., if you are interested in our laboratory, please feel free to contact us.

The experience on LSI's design is not required if you have basic electronic circuit knowledge (knowledge of transistor structure, static characteristics etc.) and "motivation".
