Taishi Watanabe was born in 1980.
He is an associate professor at the architecture department of Waseda University.
In 2005, he graduated from the department of architecture of the Graduate School of Creative Science in Waseda University (Osamu Ishiyama Lab),
and served as a personal assistant to Osamu Ishiyama Lab.
In 2012, he graduated from the doctoral program of Graduate School of Engineering in Tokyo University (Takeshi Ito Lab).
He became a doctor of Engineering and a licensed architect in Japan.
Since 2019 to 2020, he had been a visiting researcher in Aalto University, Finland.
He is the head of Taishi Watanabe Laboratory Architect,
the committee member of Setagaya Tourism Exchange Association, the committee member of Minato-ku scenery council,
and the 22nd delegate of Architectural Institute of Japan.
